The High Atlas Mountains are located in central Morocco, stretching over 740 kilometers. They include North Africa's highest peak, Mount Toubkal (4,165 meters), and the second highest peak, Mount M'Goun (4,071 meters), which is also located behind the "Rose Valley".

 

Every year, the snow and rain water from the melting snow flows from the high mountains to the famous Dades Gorge nearby. The Damascus roses on this nearly 30-kilometer land have been irrigated by these mineral-rich and sweet pure waters. The Damascus roses that have absorbed the essence of pure water have enabled Morocco to maintain the production of the highest quality rose products for many years. The pure water with abundant natural nutrients is also used for distilling roses.
